Tony is a passionate leader committed to the health care of youth and their families. Tony has brought to Family Preservation Services (FPS) superior operational, legal and compliance experience. Prior to joining FPS, Tony served as the Executive Director of Pathways of Massachusetts which served the mental and behavioral health needs of over 7,000 clients.
Steven Morphew is the Acting Clinical Director of Family Preservation Services and functions as a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of severe mental illness. Steven has worked in the New Orleans area for 10 years with a wide range of experience, from work with addictions, children and families, couples, group therapy, and community-based services. Steven is motivated to empowering clients to overcome any barriers that interfere with their ability to live comfortably, and is dedicated to the advocacy of those who struggle to do so for themselves. Steven has specific training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, rational-emotive behavior therapy, and numerous other therapeutic modalities to pull from in order to cater to the individual needs of each client he interacts with.
Compliance Director, LPC Chenise joined Family Preservation Services in 2016 and currently serves as the Compliance Director. Ms. Taylor is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and performing quality improvement monitoring and evaluating of programs and staff. Ms. Taylor is also responsible for ensuring adherence to all managed care organization requirements and procedures to avoid disruption in client services. Prior to joining Family Preservation Services, Ms. Taylor provided intensive home and community based services to children, adolescents, and adults with severe emotional and behavioral disorders and facilitated psychotherapy groups to adults and geriatrics with severe mental illness.
Chenise N. Taylor
Director of Administrative Services Ashley is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with over 10 years of management experience. She has been a member of the Family Preservation Services team since 2012 and has supported the MHR program, ACT teams and administrative operations. Ashley is passionate about human services and enjoys finding creative solutions for her people.
